recently I learned from a meme that the sound of music has some different themes to what I remembered from probably having seen it as a kid, and then secondhand via my university friend who really loved it.

'how do you solve a problem like maria' ok so the main fact I had relevant to this was curtain dresses and also I'm a problem solver so I always assumed that this was about her rad problem solving ability? no apparently she *is* the problem. what is that?? Looking at the lyrics today it is very clear I never paid attention at all.

today I saw another meme diagnosing her with adhd. which, I have mixed feelings about projecting onto characters but also I get it and this makes sense, again not really having seen it much.

I'd just like to say that I don't know why I'm so sad about this character in a movie I don't even know or like but also I'm pretty sure she ends up the hero in the end. So I guess what I'm saying is this movie is pro being your authentic neurodivergent self
