lifehacks of a crab

this is just a small example of one of the ways I add genuine joy to my life, and unapologetically adapt what exists in the world for me.

This fun little crab is technically a ladle holder though I appointed him The Sandwich Crab to hold my knife in case I (inevitably) make another sandwich before the dishwasher goes on. And then I sing the sandwich crab song to myself to the tune of spider pig from the simpsons movie. inane but simple lightness

I've been finding my medication a slowly escalating barrier lately so I've repurposed him again- first a sandwich crab, now a drug baron.

Giving myself the grace and freedom to be a bit silly about it enabled me to recognise the issue itself and then find a solution - just having this magnificent crustacean on my bench nearby while I had a moment about all the boxes and things enabled me to find a way to make things easier for myself and take the heat out of something that otherwise could have spiralled in any number of ways.

Accommodations don't have to be serious or "official" or a big deal. And we could probably all benefit from a lot less 'should' in our lives.
